Whether you’re brand new to yoga, fell out of a consistent practice, only take a class once in awhile, or you’re a yoga teacher that needs the refresher of being guided by someone else, we can all benefit from basic, beginner, alignment-based classes When we learn the proper alignment in our yoga class we are not only keep our bodies safe from injury, we are also learning to take control of what our body is doing. This gives us practice moving our body with intention instead of letting it do its own thing. We all have bodies that are uneven from left to right and that move certain ways out of habit. Much of the time this habitual movement creates aches, pains, and misalignment of our skeletal structure. This class is a different form of mindfulness and can help build a strong physical practice as well as carry over into daily life, allowing us to monitor how we're walking, standing, leaning, where we tend to place weight in our feet, and even our regular posture. Join me for this class to take control over your body and bring it back to a more aligned, healthy state!
